Aviary Design

In many cases, we work on projects where an architect has already outlined the general design of the aviary - And that works fine for us.

However, we also offer to draw up proposals for the aviary design, from the big picture to the smallest of details. This design phase is carried out in close cooperation with client, stakeholders and zoo-technical consultants, taking into consideration e.g. the existing features and trees, needs of the animals, the day-to-day routines of keepers, and the best possible experience for the audience.

Zoo features

Given our extensive experience with zoos, we can also conceptualize and design various other non-aviary elements, such as exhibit details, pavillons, enclosure fences/gates and visitor interaction objects.

We of course work in 3D CAD platforms, making the exchange of concepts between HMJ Design and client easy, allowing for idea generation even in remote work settings.
